TRES OJOS is the story of Marcelo, a gentleman who was born with a third eye on his forehead. From childhood, he is maltreated and thus, experiences isolation. His kindhearted mother who reared him and protects him is the only person who show him true love. Marcelo, in order to avenge his and his mother’s misfortunes, vows revenge on the people he perceives to be responsible for their plight — his father who abandoned them and his grandfather who never recognized them as members of his family. His experiences as a maltreated child instilled in him a desire to defend people from oppression and poverty and leads him to assume a heroic character — Tres Ojos. Despite his desire to seek revenge, Marcelo’s kindheartedness prevails. He also discovers that the people he seeks vengeance on — his father and grandfather — are just victims of treachery. [1]
