Published by Mission Publishing Company, its maiden issue appeared on July 2, 1969 with Loy Santos as Editor. It contained articles and stories with sexual themes, pin-ups and photos of local and foreign moviestars, and illustrated short stories and serial novels.

Blue Book Magazine

BLUE BOOK MAGAZINE is a komiks magasin published by Mission Publishing Company. Its maiden issue appeared on May 7, 1969 with Wilfredo Pasion as Editor. It contained real-life stories based on the confessions of its million readers from Aparri to Jolo written by talented writers plus the true confessions of moviestars about their films and different experiences in and out of showbiz. It also contained serialized novels, the earliest of them were also published in its sister publication, the Scarlet Book Comics.
