BEERKADA is a popular comics strip created by cartoonist Lyndon Gregorio, which is currently being serialized in the Philippine Star. The strip is about a group of college students and their funny adventures. Beerkada is actually a combination of the words “beer” (a favorite alcoholic drink of Filipinos) and “barkada” (a noun which refers to a group of very close friends). Beerkada strips have been compiled into several book forms. To date, there are already seven titles that have been published.
